FAQ
How can I prepare for my session?
Read, sign, and return the liability form before your first session. Contact us if you have any questions about it. In the days leading up to the session, God may want to give you insights or nudges about what to focus on during the session. So pay attention to your dreams or anything that stands out to you and pertains to your issue.
Should I bring anything to my session?
Bring a hungry heart and a thirsty spirit. We will take notes for you, so you can focus entirely on the live interaction.
How do I recommend a friend to estuary courts?
We appreciate referrals! We honor their preferences, so you could either contact us privately, send us an email introducing us to each other, and/or share our website and contact information with them.
You are also welcome to subsidize your referrals. See our Donate Page if you want to invest in their healing.
What is the time commitment outside of sessions?
There is no required commitment. Practicing the tools we share during the session could speed your healing (bringing you from a state of pain to neutral) or propel you past neutral (and into joy), but it’s up to you and your style of processing. A recommended activity might involve jotting two sentences in a gratitude journal, painting your emotions, or listing contradictory thoughts about a course of action.
We recognize that sometimes important things like this take a village, so we have provided a Donate Page where friends, family, or patrons can help you move toward health by chipping in funds earmarked with your name.
What if I can’t afford to pay for a session?
There are several things you can do that will make a big difference:
Refer friends, family, coworkers, clients, acquaintances, neighbors, and strangers to us.
Supply funds or a portion of your tithe to our Donate Page to benefit those who can’t afford to pay.
Invite us to speak to groups who might like to learn about and be inspired by this work.
How can I bless others to get the same kind of inner healing that has helped me?
We are desperately hungry and thirsty for Bread of Heaven and Living Water. Only they satisfy us, and yet we want more.
What is your theology?
We applaud and partner with the work of Therapists, Counselors, Pastors, Psychiatrists, and Doctors! With these as a foundation, our work can often go deeper and faster than it would otherwise. Our methods are often more gentle, too, since there is no reason to retell, unpack, and relive past traumatic experiences. We start ministry from the point of Love, not pain.
What if I already have a therapist?
No, we do not have non-profit status.
